About the estate

The Madonna Delle Grazie estate has roots reaching back to the early 20th century, when the grandfather became known for his vineyard expertise. Since 2003, the family has bottled their first vintages in the cellars near the Madonna delle Grazie monastery in Venosa. The vineyards are rooted in the mineral soils of the extinct volcano Mount Vulture at altitudes between 400 and 550 meters above sea level. The winery exclusively cultivates Aglianico grapes across different plots in the rural area. In the cellar, a simple and straightforward approach is followed to allow the wines to evolve naturally while vinifying individual vineyard blocks separately.
