About the estate
The Grifalco winery was founded in Venosa in the Basilicata region in 2004 by the Piccin family. Following years of winemaking experience in Tuscany, the family relocated to dedicate themselves to producing Aglianico del Vulture on the slopes of Mount Vulture. Today, the estate farms approximately 16 hectares of vineyards situated across various plots, all of which are organically certified. Each parcel is vinified and aged separately in order to preserve and highlight the distinct characteristics of the diverse soils. The estate is managed by the brothers Lorenzo and Andrea Piccin.
