About the estate
The Vigne mastrodomenico estate manages organic vineyards in the volcanic and wild landscapes of Vulture in the heart of Basilicata. The origins of the winery date back to the commitment of agronomist Donato Mastrodomenico, who promoted the planting of the native Aglianico variety in the areas of Venosa and Rapolla. Today, he continues the project alongside his children, Giuseppe and Emanuela, with the objective of producing exclusively high-quality wines. Vinification takes place in cellars carved out of the volcanic tuff in Barile. A technological feature is the traceability system introduced via the European Farm to Fork project, utilizing a QR code and a network of sensors in the vineyards and cellar.
