About the estate

The Azienda agricola Catalano Saverio Mauro winery is located in the Basilicata region at the foot of the extinct Vulture volcano. The volcanic and potassium-rich soils shape the vines cultivated there and enable the production of Aglianico del Vulture. Under the direction of Saverio Catalano, the estate combines traditional viticulture with compatible innovations to produce ripe and healthy grapes. Through great personal commitment and meticulous care in both the vineyard and the cellar, characterful red wines with ruby or garnet colors are created. The focus of the estate is on uncompromising quality in order to satisfy customers through consistent winemaking.
