About the estate
The Donato D’Angelo estate was founded in 2001 in Basilicata by the experienced winemaker Donato D’Angelo and oenologist Filomena Ruppi. Today, the family-run winery spans nearly 20 hectares of vineyards located in the most suitable areas of the appellation and is supported by their daughters, Emiliana and Erminia Alessandra. The vineyards are situated in the heart of the extinct Vulture volcano at altitudes ranging from 300 to 600 meters above sea level. The primary focus lies on the Aglianico grape variety, producing distinctive wines under the Aglianico del Vulture DOC denomination.
