About the estate

The Les Frères Engel estate is located in Orschwiller in Alsace and is managed by the brothers Hubert and Christian. In 2011, they began converting their 21-hectare vineyard to organic farming, achieving certification in 2014, and later complemented their methods with biodynamic practices. vineyard management includes superficial soil cultivation, the use of herbal preparations, and the establishment of cover crops. In the cellar, hand-harvested grapes undergo meticulous sorting before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and extended aging on the lees. Their wines are produced under designations such as AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru, and AOC Crémant d'Alsace.
