About the estate

The Josep Grau Viticultor winery was founded in 2003 by Josep Grau in Capçanes, who started his project in the Montsant DO before expanding into the Priorat DOQ in 2016. The estate currently manages six hectares of vineyards split across multiple parcels, featuring mostly old vines with a focus on traditional grape varieties. The viticulture is handled organically and partially biodynamically, prioritizing maximum respect for the plants and the conservation of local biodiversity. In the cellar, the winemaking focuses on minimal intervention and natural expression to produce authentic, site-driven wines with a distinct sense of place.
