The IL Colombaio di Santa Chiara estate is a family-run winery located in San Gimignano, Tuscany, with agricultural roots dating back decades and an official entry into winemaking in 2002. The vineyards cover 22 hectares across several sites featuring soils composed of upper Pliocene sands, clay, pebbles, and ancient limestone formations. The estate produces wines under designations including Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG. The vineyards are farmed under certified organic methods to respect the land and preserve the qualities of both local and international grape varieties.
