The San Giorgio a Lapi estate is located in Siena, Tuscany, and was founded in 1977 by Ermete after arriving from Trentino. Today, the winery is run by the family, who oversees every phase from vineyard management to vinification. The vineyards are situated in an area where the character bridges Chianti Classico and Colli Senesi. Soils composed of galestro, alberese, clay, and sand shape the profile of the wines. In addition to winemaking, the estate also produces olive oil.
