About the estate
The Il Colle di Carli estate was founded in Montalcino, Tuscany, in 1972 by the father of the current owner, Caterina Carli. Across eight hectares of vineyards, the focus lies on cultivating the Sangiovese grape variety. Management follows old traditions with natural care in the vineyard and minimal intervention. In the cellar, the wines age in large oak casks, avoiding filtration and using very restrained levels of sulfur. The portfolio includes the protected designations of origin Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC.
