About the estate

The Hörth winery was founded in 2003 with the planting of its first vineyard and now cultivates around 6.5 hectares of vines. The vineyards are located in the Kremstal and Wagram wine regions, spanning sites such as Steiner Pfaffenberg, Kremser and Rohrendorfer Gebling, and Wohrra. The portfolio includes grape varieties such as Zweigelt, Merlot, Rösler, Grüner Veltliner, Rhine Riesling, Welschriesling, and Roter Veltliner. A particular focus of the estate is placed on the rare Roter Veltliner, which is cultivated on a very limited area in Austria.

The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Roter Veltliner.
