About the estate
The Herdade Aldeia de Cima estate is located in the Serra do Mendro within the Alentejo region, encompassing an area of 3,500 hectares characterized by exceptional biodiversity. Across five vineyards spread over 22 plots, native Portuguese grape varieties are cultivated under organic practices. Harvesting is conducted manually in adherence to tradition to preserve local knowledge. Managed by Luísa Amorim, Francisco Rêgo, and their family, the winery produces wines shaped by the freshness of Atlantic winds and schist-based soils. In addition to wine, the property produces olive oil, honey, cork, and medronho spirit.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Alvarinho.
