About the estate
The Guado al Melo estate was founded in 1998 by Annalisa Motta and Michele Scienza in Castagneto Carducci in Tuscany. The family-run winery cultivates 21.5 hectares of vineyards in the hilly area of the Bolgheri DOC denomination. Operations are managed sustainably and with respect for local biodiversity. The portfolio focuses on regional red wines, including Bolgheri Superiore and Bolgheri Rosso, alongside white wines. Winemaking takes place in an entirely underground cellar built according to bio-architecture principles.
