About the estate

The Schwab winery is based in Thüngersheim in Franconia and manages vineyards in one of the most traditional wine-growing communities of the sun-drenched region in the middle Main valley. The estate combines tradition with innovation, focusing on sustainable viticulture under the banner of biodiversity as well as methods that draw upon ancient wine knowledge. The portfolio ranges from light, uncomplicated estate wines to village wines from the best local vineyards, alongside wines from classified First Growths and Great Growths. For the highest quality wines, the grapes are selectively harvested by hand and yields are significantly reduced. In addition to wine production, the estate operates a vinothek and guest rooms for visitors.
