About the estate

The Geppel-Mayer winery is located in Krustetten in the Kremstal region south of Krems, between the Göttweig Abbey and the Wetterkreuz. The diverse soils consisting of loess, gravel, and deep calcareous humus provide ideal conditions for planting the appropriate grape varieties. Through hand harvesting, traditional mash fermentation, and modern cellar technology, the estate produces fruit-driven white wines and distinctive red wines. During vinification, the family-run business places great emphasis on preserving the natural character of the wines. Visitors can enjoy the wines alongside regional specialties in the tasting room and the traditional wine tavern.
