The Fonpinet estate is a family-run winery located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia in the Catalonia wine region, producing sparkling wines under the Cava and Cava – Comtats de Barcelona designations. The vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods aimed at protecting the environment and maintaining soil fertility. Production relies on native grape varieties from Penedès such as Macabeu, Xarel·lo, and Parellada, alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The winemaking process involves a traditional second fermentation in the bottle followed by a maturation period that varies according to the wine style.
