About the estate

The Fietri estate is situated in the heart of the Chianti territory in Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany, having experienced a near-abandonment in the 1960s before its revival in the 1980s. Today, the winery spans 8 hectares of vineyards and features a modern, temperature-controlled cellar equipped with stainless steel vats and oak barrels for aging. The production includes Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico Riserva, a rosé, various IGT wines, and a traditional-method sparkling wine. Farming is conducted organically, utilizing estate-grown Sangiovese, Chardonnay, and Viognier grapes. In addition to wine, the property produces organic extra-virgin olive oil from its surrounding groves.
