About the estate

The Feldtheorie estate located in Krems an der Donau in the Kamptal region is run by two natural scientists who realized their dream of owning a winery after long travels. In the Kamptal, the small operation cultivates its vineyards according to organic and natural principles with a strong focus on manual labor and high biodiversity. Using hand-harvested grapes, authentic wines are produced through traditional processing and spontaneous fermentation in an old cellar lane building. The wines mature in historic cellars and are ultimately bottled unfined and unfiltered in limited quantities.
