About the estate

The Loimer Gumpoldskirchen estate is managed by Fred Loimer, who took over the traditional winery from his father in 1998 and has continuously developed it ever since. In 2004, the winery leased additional vineyards around Gumpoldskirchen in the Thermenregion, while its main base remains in the Kamptal. Since 2006, the estate has operated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture, consistently relying on manual labor in the vineyards. In the cellar, fermentation occurs spontaneously with natural yeasts, followed by maturation in wood and stainless steel vats. The portfolio comprises characterful wines with a strong sense of origin from the Kamptal DAC and Thermenregion DAC denominations.
