About the estate

The Etz estate, located in Walkersdorf am Kamp, has been run as a family business since its foundation in 1898 and is currently managed by the fourth generation. The approximately 40 hectares of vineyards are distributed across various renowned sites in the Kamptal, with Grüner Veltliner forming the cornerstone of the winery with a share of over 70 percent. In addition to Grüner Veltliner, varieties such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner, and Sauvignon Blanc are cultivated and bottled under the regulations of Kamptal DAC. The winery operates according to integrated production guidelines, refrains from using insecticides and herbicides, and has been certified sustainable since 2022. Vinification is carried out in a modern cellar style, with all wines remaining on the fine lees until bottling.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
