About the estate

The ‚Esole estate is located in Mamoiada on the island of Sardinia in Italy and has roots in a long family tradition of winemaking. The winery was established around a vineyard plot in the Garaunele area that was rescued from removal during a viticultural crisis in the 1980s. The vineyards are situated on granitic and slightly acidic soils at altitudes ranging from 500 to 950 meters above sea level, featuring significant temperature fluctuations between day and night. The primary grape varieties cultivated are Cannonau along with the native white variety Granatza. The estate follows a philosophy that combines traditional winemaking principles with a touch of innovation, aiming for minimal intervention during the cellar process.
