About the estate

The Mattia Muggittu winery cultivates its vineyards in Mamoiada in the heart of Sardinia according to organic principles. The origins of the estate date back to the 1990s when the parents laid the foundations for the family business. The vineyards are distributed across various plots at altitudes between 650 and 750 meters on granitic soils. Alongside a strong focus on Cannonau, the estate also cultivates indigenous varieties such as the white Granazza in parts of very old plots over 70 years of age. The portfolio includes wines under the Barbagia IGT denomination.
