About the estate

The family-owned estate Mertzeoro is located in Mamoiada in central Sardinia and cultivates a vineyard area of five hectares. The winery looks back on a history of two decades, with its vineyards situated in areas such as Baduorane, Mulinu, and Sa Lahana. The cultivated grape varieties include Cannonau and Granatza. Viticulture is practiced organically with the aim of respecting and emphasizing the character of the terroir. After years of selling bulk wine, the estate began bottling its own wine in 2019 under the name of its founder, Melchiorre Paddeu. Furthermore, the winery is a member of the Mamojà association for the promotion of local viticulture.
