About the estate
The Domaine Vincent Carême was founded in 1999 with five hectares of vineyards and now covers about 24 hectares in Vernou-sur-Brenne in the Loire Valley. The vines, ranging from ten to over eighty years old, grow on clay, flint, and limestone soils. Exclusively from the Chenin Blanc grape variety, the estate produces still and sparkling white wines in various styles. Cultivation is organic and certified by Ecocert, with harvesting done manually. Vinification takes place using indigenous yeasts in a 16th-century troglodyte cellar.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc. The estate sells to retail.
