The Domaine Gaucher Mellier estate cultivates 22 hectares of vineyards in Chançay within the Vouvray wine region. The family-run winery is currently managed by the fifth generation, siblings Eric Gaucher and Patricia Veron. The vineyards extend across clay-limestone soils and three distinct sectors offering varied exposures. The production focuses on wines from the AOC Vouvray and AOC Touraine appellations, with Chenin Blanc being the predominant grape variety. Vinification takes place in tuffeau limestone cellars, which also house the production of sparkling wines via the traditional method.
