About the estate
Located in Lasseube in southwest France, the Domaine Tinou is managed by Serge Hondet and has practiced organic farming since its founding year in 1964. The south-facing vineyards are surrounded by hedges and forests, and are cultivated using methods such as cover cropping and manual labor. The cultivated grape varieties are Tannat, Lauzet, Gros Manseng, and Petit Manseng. Harvesting is done by hand from October through November to preserve grape quality. In the cellar, the musts ferment with natural yeasts and the wines are aged primarily in stainless steel tanks.
