About the estate
The Domaine Tambour estate has been cultivating its vineyards in Banyuls-sur-Mer in the Languedoc-Roussillon region since 1920 and is now managed in the fifth generation. Across a vineyard area of ten hectares, the family-run winery works steep schist slopes entirely by hand between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea. The prevailing conditions featuring poor soils and abundant sunshine shape the character of the wines. The estate produces wines under the AOC Banyuls and AOC Collioure appellations.
