About the estate
The Domaine Léon Boesch estate, established in 1640 and located in Westhalten in Alsace, manages 14.5 hectares of vineyards including parcels in the Zinnkoepfle Grand Cru. This family-run winery follows strict organic and Demeter biodynamic practices with manual harvesting and meticulous vine care throughout the year. Grapes undergo gentle whole-bunch pressing, followed by spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts in traditional wooden casks. The wines mature in old oak foudres for whites and barriques for reds before being entirely commercialized under the estate label.
