About the estate
The Domaine Lacroix-Vanel estate was founded in August 1998 by Jean-Pierre and Jocelyne Vanel in Caux and was taken over in 2016 by Marc-Olivier Bertrand. The vineyards are situated on a demanding terroir consisting of gravel and basalt with a dual origin from the Quaternary period. The grape varieties cultivated for red wines are Syrah, Grenache, Cinsaut, and Mourvèdre, while Grenache blanc, Roussanne, and Vermentino are used for white wines. Farming is conducted according to organic agriculture and biodynamic principles with the objective of maintaining biodiversity and a living soil. Harvesting is done manually in small crates, followed by artisanal vinification without artificial additives and using native yeasts.
The eno directory lists 4 wines.
