About the estate

The Domaine la Perdriere/ Domaine Chamfort estate, named after the Perdigao family, extends across various terroirs in the Rhône Valley. The vineyards are situated on the garrigues plateau, on the heights of the village, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, and on Mount Bayon. The old vines of Grenache and Mourvèdre, some over fifty years of age, thrive in soils composed of rolled pebbles, sands, safre, and limestone. The cultivated plots benefit from an optimal orientation and the cooling influence of the nearby mountain, which promotes slow grape ripening. To optimize quality, the cellar has been enlarged and modernized, accompanied by a new bottle design.
