About the estate
The Domaine Fischbach estate in Traenheim, Alsace, traces its history back to 1584 and is currently managed by Jean Dreyfuss. The vineyard area covers slightly over eight hectares on predominantly marly soils, including parcels within the AOC Alsace Grand Cru denomination. The winery follows organic and biodynamic agricultural practices with a strong emphasis on manual labor, soil health, and biodiversity. Winemaking relies exclusively on natural methods, featuring hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and no filtration. Depending on the wine, aging takes place in stainless steel tanks, wooden barrels, or amphorae.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir.
