Domaine Dussourt

About the estate

The family history of the Domaine Dussourt estate dates back to the 17th century, before the winery was established in 1964 following the acquisition of a property in Scherwiller. Since 1996, Paul Dussourt has managed the estate with the ambition of modernizing the operations. The vineyards extend across the Alsatian foothills between Scherwiller and Blienschwiller on geologically and topographically diverse soils. Granitic slopes such as Rittersberg, alongside alluvial plain terroirs, impart a distinctive minerality to the wines. Aging takes place in an 18th-century cellar containing around 15 oak casks, complemented by modern temperature-controlled fermentation vats.
