About the estate

The Domaine du Peyret estate is a family-run winery located in Puy-l’Évêque at the heart of the Cahors wine region, spanning three generations. Covering eleven hectares of vineyards on clay-limestone soils and the terraces of the Lot valley, the estate primarily cultivates Malbec alongside newly planted white grape varieties. The winery applies sustainable agricultural practices with a focus on soil management and biodiversity. Vinification takes place directly on site in concrete tanks, followed by aging in tanks, barrels, or ovoid vats depending on the cuvée. In addition to producing wines under the AOC Cahors and Côtes du Lot IGP denominations, the estate focuses on direct sales at the property.
