About the estate

Located in Saint Marcel in the Rhône Valley, the Domaine du Chapitre estate looks back on a family tradition documented in archives since the 17th century. The vineyard area covers 30 hectares, spread across the appellations of AOC Côtes du Rhône, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages, and Côteaux de l'Ardèche IGP. The vines, with an average age of 30 years, thrive on diverse soils including clay-limestone, rolled pebbles, and sand. Grenache forms the majority of the grape varieties, followed by Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Counoise, Mourvèdre, and Clairette rose. The wines are produced under sustainable agricultural practices.
