About the estate

The Domaine de Saumarez estate was founded in 2004 and covers 13 hectares of vineyards in the Languedoc region. The eleven parcels are nestled on limestone soils between the garrigue and the Mediterranean Sea. The property has been farmed organically for many years, entirely avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides. The vineyard portfolio includes traditional southern varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre alongside experimental grapes like Assyrtiko and Sangiovese. Cultivation focuses on preserving natural biodiversity and authentically expressing the distinctive character of the terroir through the wines.
