About the estate
The Domaine de la Grézille estate cultivates a vineyard area of 23 hectares in the Loire Valley between the Anjou and Saumurois regions since 1996. Located on soils featuring marine sediments from the falun sea, the vineyards thrive with grape varieties such as Chenin, Grolleau, Pineau d’Aunis, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, including selected parcels of old vines. The winery implements measures like planting hedgerows, grassing and working the soil, and applying sustainable methods in the vineyard. Winemaking relies on natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts alongside patient aging in oak barrels entirely without added sulfites or additives. The produced wines comprise various protected designations of origin from the region.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Chenin Blanc.
