About the estate

Founded in 1887, the Domaine des Petits Quarts estate is located in Bellevigne-en-Layon in the Loire Valley and covers 26 hectares of vineyards. The vines are planted on steep slopes with soils mainly composed of schist, sandstone, and granite within the Anjou noir, benefiting from a mild oceanic climate. Chenin is the sole grape variety cultivated on the estate, yielding sparkling wines alongside dry, off-dry, medium-sweet, and sweet styles. The viticultural approach relies on careful manual work and natural amendments to ensure deep root systems and optimal grape maturity. The estate's production falls under several protected designations, including AOC Anjou, AOC Bonnezeaux, and AOC Coteaux du Layon.
