About the estate
The Domaine de Guillau estate in Montalzat looks back on a long family tradition that began in the late 19th century and was officially founded in 1989. The Lartigue family currently cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards in the Sud-Ouest region as part of a traditional mixed farming operation that also includes fruit growing. The vineyard features typical regional grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Tannat, Gamay, Cot, and Abouriou for red and rosé wines, alongside Viognier and Chardonnay for white wines. The estate actively contributed to the recognition of the AOC Coteaux du Quercy and also produces wines under the Comte Tolosan IGP and Comté Tolosan IGP designations.
