About the estate
The Domaine de Chantelle estate is situated in the Lot valley, featuring limestone subsoils enriched with ancient and modern alluvial deposits. The winery spans 34 hectares of vineyards distributed across numerous small plots in the commune of Caillac. The primary grape variety is Malbec, which is used to produce distinctive wines under the AOC Cahors and Côtes du Lot IGP denominations. In 2020, the estate obtained level three high environmental value certification. Vineyard management practices include reasoned pest control, grassing between the rows, manual canopy maintenance, and mechanical harvesting followed by manual sorting.

Robe grenat. Puissant, complexe. L’ attaque est souple, les tanins sont pleins et fondus, les arômes fruits rouges dominent et finissent sur des notes confites.
