About the estate
The Domaine de Cassagnole estate is located in Berrias et Casteljau in southern Ardèche at the foot of the Cévennes and is run as a family business by the siblings Audrey and Simon Biscarat. Across twenty hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates eleven different grape varieties on diverse soils on both sides of the Chassezac river. Management follows certified environmentally friendly practices without chemical fertilizers or insecticides. In the winery, the grape varieties are individually vinified and matured in concrete, fiberglass, and stainless steel tanks before blending takes place at the end of the aging process. The wines produced fall under the protected geographical indication Ardèche.
