About the estate
The Domaine de Beaucastel estate spans 130 hectares in the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, featuring soils composed of rounded pebbles resting on ancient marine molasse. The Perrin family has farmed the vineyards organically and biodynamically for decades, cultivating the traditional grape varieties including Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah, and Roussanne. Following hand harvesting and separate fermentation in wood or concrete vats, the wines mature in large oak foudres before bottle aging. The resulting wines reflect the unique interaction between the Rhône region, the mistral wind, and the historic terroir.
