About the estate
The history of the Miquel family at the Domaine de Barroubio estate dates back to 1405. Since the year 2000, Raymond Miquel has headed the winery, which is situated at an altitude of 300 meters on the northeastern edge of Minervois. Out of the property's total 60 hectares, 31 hectares are dedicated to viticulture, with Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains occupying the most significant share. The limestone and clay-limestone soils are used to produce AOC Minervois as well as Muscat de Saint-Jean-de-Minervois. Since 2018, the estate's wines have held an environmental certification reflecting sustainable practices.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Grenache and Carignan.
