Domaine Childeric

About the estate

The Domaine Childéric estate is situated in the south of the Ventoux in Mormoiron, featuring a contiguous vineyard area of eight hectares. The history of the organically and biodynamically farmed property builds upon a long-standing tradition of working in harmony with nature, extending the work of its predecessors. The deep sandy clay soils and a protective belt of Mediterranean vegetation provide ideal conditions for cultivating varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Clairette, Roussanne, and Vermentino. Vineyard management relies on manual labor including hand harvesting and careful canopy work, followed by gentle, natural vinification in the cellar. The wines from the AOC Ventoux appellation are partially aged in barrels and reflect the character of this alpine-Mediterranean terroir.
