Domaine Champ-Long

About the estate

Located in Entrechaux, the Domaine Champ-Long estate spans thirty hectares of vineyards across the AOC Ventoux and AOC Côtes du Rhône appellations in the Rhône Valley. The family property dates back to 1820 and is currently managed by Jean-Christophe GELY and his wife Agnès, following Christian and Béatrice GELY. The estate features diverse soils ranging from sandy plateaus to clay-limestone and stony hillsides in a sunny, wind-sheltered environment. Certified organic farming practices involve mechanical weed control, organic fertilizers, and predominantly manual harvesting of the grapes. The wines are vinified using a combination of traditional expertise and modern techniques and are bottled directly on the property.

The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Viognier and Grenache Blanc. The estate sells to retail.
