Domaine Cady

About the estate

The Domaine Cady estate has been managed by four generations of the Cady family, with Alexandre and Vanessa Cady taking over the winery in 2006. The estate covers over 30 hectares of vineyards farmed organically on schist soils on the hillside slopes overlooking the Loire. Traditional grape varieties such as Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, and Cabernet-Sauvignon are cultivated, with Chenin Blanc serving as the signature variety. Harvesting is carried out both manually and mechanically to achieve optimal grape maturity. The portfolio includes various appellations, producing wines ranging from dry to sweet as well as sparkling wines.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc. The estate sells to retail.
