About the estate
The Domaine Baumann-Zirgel estate is located in Mittelwihr, Alsace, with a family history rooted in 1925 when the historic property was acquired. Today, the winery is managed across generations and cultivates thirteen hectares of hillside vineyards across multiple grands crus and designated sites. Viticulture is conducted organically and, since 2020, under certified biodynamic practices with an emphasis on sustainable vineyard management. All wines are independently vinified, aged, and bottled from the estate's own harvest. The portfolio features expressive wines that reflect the unique local microclimate and renowned regional terroirs.
