Domaine Achillee

About the estate

The Domaine Achillée estate has its roots in Dambach-la-Ville, where historical cellars date back to 1620. Today, the winery in Scherwiller is managed by the Dietrich family, who has farmed biodynamically for over twenty years. The vineyards extend across diverse terroirs featuring soils of sand, gravel, clay, sandstone, schist, and granite. Cultivated grape varieties include traditional Alsatian varieties such as Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Sylvaner. Vinification is carried out with minimal intervention, utilizing spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and avoiding significant additives.
