About the estate
The Dax Weingut -Vinothek is run as a family business in the Moselle municipality of Ernst on the terraced Moselle, already in the seventh generation. On five hectares of vineyards in various locations, Riesling dominates as typical for the Moselle, followed by Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Dornfelder, Kerner, and Bacchus. White wines are largely aged in stainless steel tanks, while red wines undergo traditional mash fermentation in oak barrels. Since 2019, a modern vinothek has presented the estate's products directly on site.
