About the estate

Cantina Foderà in Marsala looks back on a long history that began in 1849 when Matteo Foderà first vinified grapes from his own vineyards. For generations, the family business supplied wine to local establishments until the first estate-bottled wine was produced in 2001 under Nino Foderà. The certified organic vineyards are located in the northern zone of Marsala on red Mediterranean soils and cultivate grape varieties such as Grillo, Syrah, Merlot, Perricone, and Zibibbo. Management is sustainable with manual harvesting to preserve the natural quality of the grapes for vinification in the historical family cellar.
