About the estate

The Covides winery processes selected grapes in modern facilities into wines and cavas under the Cava DO and Penedès DO denominations. For production, the company exclusively uses the must from the first pressing and cultivates native grape varieties such as Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada, and Trepat alongside international varieties like Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, and Monastrell. Winemaking relies on modern techniques including pneumatic presses, stainless steel tanks, and temperature-controlled fermentation. An in-house oenology team contributes experience and technique to give the wines and cavas their distinct character. Furthermore, the estate places a strong emphasis on sustainability, environmental protection, and holds certifications such as IFS, ECO, and ISO 14001 compliance.
